Driving in Thailand is much safer and easier when you hold a valid Thai Driving License. While international licenses are sometimes accepted, many insurance companies provide partial coverage or no coverage at all if you do not hold a Thai license.
A Thai Driving License also serves as a convenient form of identification for hotels, domestic flights, and daily life — especially since expats cannot carry their passports everywhere.
If you already have a valid driving license from your home country, the process is fast and simple.
If your license is not in English, we will handle the legalization at your Embassy, translate it, and verify the documents with the relevant Thai authorities.
We guide you from start to finish to ensure your driving license is issued smoothly.

Thai Driving License Requirements
Full assistance for your 2-year and 5-year driving license.
To apply for a Thai Driving License, you must prepare several documents, including:
• A medical certificate issued by a clinic or hospital
• A Residence Certificate or Work Permit
• Your passport
• Your valid driving license from your home country
• The official Thai Driving License application form
Because the process and paperwork are entirely in Thai, one of our representatives accompanies you to the Department of Land Transport to handle the application, translation, verification, and required tests.
Your first license will be a temporary 2-year license, which can then be renewed for a 5-year license.
If your foreign driving license has expired for more than one year, you will need to restart the full procedure.
We ensure everything is completed correctly so you can drive legally and confidently in Thailand.
