Visa Extension in Thailand
Extending your stay in Thailand is possible through several visa extension categories, depending on your current visa type. A visa extension must always be done before the expiration date of your current permission to stay.
Common extensions include:
• 30-day extension for Tourist Visa or Visa Exemption
• 7-day emergency extension for some nationalities
• 1-year extensions for Non-Immigrant Visas (O, B, ED, etc.)
At Thailand Global Visa, our team prepares all required documents, checks eligibility, and coordinates your extension at Immigration to ensure a fast and smooth process.
Fees at Immigration are 1,900 THB, and the processing time is typically 2–3 hours.

• Overstay, even by 1 day, can result in fines or refusal of extension
• Immigration may request additional documents depending on your situation
• Extensions are counted from your current expiry date, not the submission date
